• EN 10149-2 S700MC High Yield Structural Steels Plates are ideally used in aerial platforms, telescopic handlers, truck trailers, and telescopic cranes. Emphasis is given on strength and weight reduction properties. 700 Heavy Steel Plates should be welded with welding energy of up to 1.5 kJ/cm per mm of thickness. This helps in preserving the mechanical properties of the base metal. If proper care of S700 MC Steel Plates is not taken then the heat affected zone may become soft. The extent of softening and the width of the soft zone depend on the heat applied during welding. Lower heat inputs are recommended in  S700 MC EN 10149-2 structural steel Plates when joint strength and toughness are prioritized.

Strenx™ 700 is a structural steel with a minimum yield strength of 650-700 MPa depending on thickness.

Strenx 700 meets the requirements of EN 10 025-6 for the S690 grade and thicknesses. Typical applications include demanding load-bearing structures.

Strenx 700 E (complies with S 690 QL) is available in plate thicknesses of 4–160 mm, while Strenx 700 F (complies with S 690 QL1) is available in plate thicknesses of 4–130 mm.
